Predictions Made About: Tam

Rating: 3.75

Tam will find a fallen Rand once again on the slopes of a mountain, this time Shayol Ghul. Tam will carry the body of his son to the "narrow bed" envisioned by Egwene. (A man lay dying in a narrow bed, and it was important that he not die, yet outside a funeral pyre was being built, and voices raised songs of joy and sadness. )

He will help in the killing of Shaidar Haran (sp?)

Tam will die in the last book. No real basis, just that it will be a big emotional impact on Rand (and the reader).

Tam was once a general of Illian, and may come back one day to try and resume that position in order to help Rand.

Tam will hear of Rands heartless ways, and attempt to find and teach him better, perhaps joining his efforts with Cadsuane. Rand will reject him strongly for fear of Tam being hurt, and Tam will fight in the battle agains the DO regardless. He will die and Rand will regret pushing him away.

Tam Al'Thor, being absent from the series for a while, will return suddenly and assist Cadsuane in restoring Rand's humanity. Afterward's, Rand will try to send Tam home to keep him safe, but Tam will join Bashere's army. At Tarmon Gaidon, Tam will be seriously injured, but will survive.

Tam will try to find rand for the remander of the series and at tarmon gaidon rand will be killed by the dark one. Tam going mad from grief will channel unheard of amounts and destroy everything on this side of the Aryth ocean. Allowing the dark one to be free because his prison was destroyed along with everything else. Tam is truely the dragon reborn.

Tam will come out of the Two Rivers, and join his son in the Last Battle, and probably die.

How powerful can ta'veren really be? Is it possible that Rand (or the Spirt of the Dragon I should say) shifted the pattern, how ever many years ago, causing Tam to go adventuring, marry Kari, and find Rand on the slopes of Dragonmount?

Tam, Tamyrlin seat? I missed that bit about ring of the Tamyrlin. I wonder if Rand will accidently re-create it in honor of his father, who will probably have to die in order for that to work. In fact, that might be what drives Rand over the edge into beg
