Predictions Made About: Verin

Rating: 1

Verin gave the Horn of Valere to the Black Ajah.

By Tot alVice on 2011-06-15

Rating: 2.6

Verin is one of the new dread lords and her death was a ploy to get people to react in a certain way and she will be brought back by the DO for the last battle.

Verin visited Graendal just prior to Graendal getting killed by Rand and right before she goes to visit Egwene in the White Tower. Graendal likely told Verin that Mesaana was hiding in the Tower

Verin will be revealed as a dreamer, who has known about Rand and the last battle for a long time.

at the end of book 11 she is going to tar varon to get the horn of valere and deliver it to mat

Has gone to hunt the black Ajah and will lead the purge against them, unfortunately sacrificing herself. This is the plan she has had for so long.

When Verin is revealed as a DF, she will kill Cadusane. Rand will be in Cadsuane's presence at the time, and will mourn later, but then Rand will destroy Verin. In this way, Cadsuane will have helped him to kill dangerous women and has caused him to cry when she is another name on his list.

i predict that verin is a hero of the wheel that has been respawned

I believe she is Black Ajah.

I think that Verin will somehow be really important to Rand before the LB.

I predict that by the end of the series Verin Mathwin will be exposed as Corianin Nedeal!!

By Simarilius-Grey on 2005-07-26

I believe she has been freed from the three oaths just like Caudsuane. She has told several small lies, but even though, I still beleive her loyalties lay to the light, and she freed herself from them because the oaths can hinder her goals.

she is not ba. she has not lied outright.
the whole point of this prediction is that she may be unorthodox, but she is not evil, she is on the side of the light, and she is damn smart.

In KoD, it will be revelaed that Verin has a ter'angreal that allows her to channel saidin, and that she used it to avoid being in contact with the Oath Rod during her raising to Aes Sedai.

By Yaga Shura on 2005-06-11

Rating: 1.89

Verin is NOT part of Black Ajah she serves the light bur has removed the oaths to help the "right side" to win. She will help one of the ta'veren and die saving his life...

By padanfain on 2005-04-25

Verin's behavior or plotting will end up being critically important in winning the war against the Shadow. Indeed, it may be the most important factor.

By SDog on 2005-03-25

Verin will sacrifice herself to save one of the ta'veren during the Last Battle.

By DCIMorse on 2004-10-01

Verin will have the final POV in the series.

It will be revealed that Verin's father is part of Mat's memories.

By Farstrider on 2004-05-20

Verin has freed herself of the three oaths in T'A'R. She had all the notes on T'A'R and did not share the with Ew. She wouldn't share the notes because in them told how to break free.

By Fidge on 2004-05-08

I think Verin will die, saving the life of one of our three main men.

By IkilledAsmodean on 2004-02-13

I think Verin is part of the Purple Ajah, or Gold Ajah. Absoluetly dedicated to the Dragon and old prophecies. She has no Oaths, and knows alot, as to make sure she has privileges and abilities to see Rand through to the Final Battle.
Possibly Cadsuane or others are in this group.

By mako0424 on 2003-12-13

i can honestly say that Verin is by far the most confusing character as to her loyalties. There all over the place, she has lied, she has used compulsion on sisters, and she knows alot of stuff that know one from this age could know. somehow i think she may be a Daughter of Silence, (the only one) and she is also some famous old character, like the Dreamer one. It was her ring she gave to Egwene.

By mako0424 on 2003-12-02

Verin has had oaths removed, but isn't Black Ajah. She's like a fore-runner of Egwene...good, but unconventional.

By Stanzi on 2003-11-26

One of Verin's nicknames/aliases is "Rina" and Elyas is her Warder!

By Caraline Damodred on 2003-03-20

Verin used a Well to find out that the Ogier was souless in the stedding.

By Therilon on 2002-11-11

I believe that Verin is an agent of the Creator, or even an incarnation of the Creator. Verin's behavior is much like the Creator himself, both of them seem to be pretty much neutral. The Creator of course seems to be a whole lot more on the neutral sid

By King Krum on 2000-12-13

I think Verin is a double agent, Luc knew she was black ajah when he glanced at her hands at that Two Rivers farm house. But later she used compulsion on other sisters that are in the keeping of the wise ones. The compulsion she uses is pieced together bu

I think Verin is the only member of The Daughters of Slience to become Aes Sedai. The Daughters were disbanded in 798 NE, so that would mean that Verin was between 220-230 years old.

"Verin killed Asmodean. The only reason there could for hiding the killer's identity is if revealing it would reveal something about one of the characters that is a major plot element. The actual death itself is unimportant, we know that loads of people w

I don't see much happening to verin in the future of the story. I think she's already served her purpose in getting Rand to accept that he's the dragon Reborn. she'll most like have some part in tarmon gaiden maybe go on to discover so new treasure trove

By Wullfe on 1998-09-16

Verin is BLACK AJAH !!!! She has lied more than once. Not just dance around the truth , she lied!

By Dvashun on 1998-07-29

I think she will end up helping Perrin in some strange way.She will either save his life or Faile's.She will not live through the Last Battle.
