Predictions Made About: Seanchan

Rating: 7.5

Rand tried to bind the Seanchan to him on his own and was rebuffed. But to break the prophecies and save the Aiel, BLack/White Towers, and rest of the World from destruction, all three Ta'veren will need to visit Tuon at once to avoid bending the knee.

The Seanchan will try to use Traveling, which they learned from Elaida, to travel to Tar Valon for a second strike. Just as mat pulled Verin's Gateway to him, so will he pull the Seanchan to Caemlyn where the Seanchan will turn the tide against the shadowspawn.

When Rand kneels before the crystal throne, either it will not work on him because he can channel, or he will counter it with the power. Alternatively, perhaps the compulsion laid upon Rand will have a stabilizing effect; a command to stay sane or some such thing.

The Seanchan after their attack on the White Tower will be set upon more vigorously by Trollocs and Myrdraal. Tuon will finally decide, because of Matt to join forces with Rand's forces to fight the last battle in return for assistance to reclaim Seanchan. Rand will bow to Tuon when Tuon finally agrees to help at Tarmon Gai'don.

I predict that the "High Seat", mentioned by Ishammel on page xi of "The Eye Of The World", is the Seanchan Imperial Throne.

Selucia will be revealed as the first unleashed Damane.

Will become evenly split before and at time of Last Battle. Some will support the rightful heir to the throne, Tuon and Mat, and this faction will be allied with Rand, but a large faction will believe her dead or an imposter, and cause chaos, and incidentally, though unbeknowingly, fight for the Dark during Tarmon Gaidon.

Mattin Steppanos will make a secret truce with the Seanchan and get them into the White Tower, betraying the tower and causing the Seanchan attack. In return for this, the Seanchan will return the kingdom of Illian to Steppanos.

I predict after the last battle all the a'dams will be destroyed.

I predict that, what with the continent of Seanchan in turmoil, during the Last Battle Seanchan will be completely overrun. The good guys will win it back after securing the main continent and sealing the bore.

I believe that Rand will somehow kneel to Mat, symbolising kneeling to the Crystal Throne.

The seanchan will attack and capture the rebel Aes Sedai, then using them as weapons against the White Tower, fulfilling Egwene's dream of Seanchan lining up leashed Aes Sedai against the white tower.

The Seanchan will attack the tower by Traveling. They will either force Rand to make a gateway with the male a'dam, or he will take them there to support Egwene and thus offend all of the Aes Sedai and endanger Egwene's efforts.

I think that the volcano will explode while the Aes Sedai are battling each other. And that explosion will cause the Aes Sedai to end thier "petty squabling" just in time for the Seanchan attack.

Will attack the White Tower in KoD.

The Seanchan will not invade the White Tower en masse. If any attack occurs, it will be a small group looking for a specific person or object.

Rand will never be held captive by the sad bracelets, but he will be allied with the seanchan. Then he will want to attack the white tower for some reason (i think him learning that Egwene is captive there is most likely) thus fullfilling egwene's dream of an attack on the white tower by the sheanchan.

I believe that shortly after Egwene's capture the Seanchan will siege the White Tower, and that the thing that egwene feared was a draghkar then wrote off as a bat in CoT was actually an early scout by the Seanchan.

The seachen will eventualy side with Rand,(probly after he gets freed from male a'dam) Than he will demand all damane to be freed from their leashes. The way they will do this is as followed. First Aes Sedai will shield damane, than they will remove the a'adam, than they will swear the 3 oaths on the oath rod. Along with all the new novice and accepted, the sul-dam will be made novice as well because the secret will be out that they can learn to channel. Providing the Tower will be made whole again, we will see the tower full, as it was back b4 the Trolloc wars.

There will be a struggle for power after the LB battle in the Seanchan/Children of the Lihght vs. channelers of Randland war. Seanchan/Chidren will be stronger so the ability will be culled out of society. This will lead to an age where the OP is known only as a myth and people will gain a closer relationship to nature than technology.
