Before Winter's Heart - Archive Only: Who is Cyndane?

I think we have finally seen Lanfear. She goes by the name Cyndane "Last Chance". The fact Graendal doesn't recognize her means asmodean wouldn't either.

I say this because Cyndane is stronger then Graendal (pg. 263 par 3) few women were but Lanfear was one. By the way the other Mindtrap belongs to Cyndane. I say this because Pg. 264 par 2 says "Suddenly Cyndane's big eyes opened even wider, and she gasped shuddering." It continues in the next paragraph, "Moghedien's glare turned malicious. "You lead for the moment," she sneered. "Your place in his eyes is not far better than mine." And then she gave start and shivered, biting her lip." Reactions when their cour'souvra is handled. Does anybody recognize the description given for Cyndane? I don't but she has been around for awhile because Mogie noticed Moridin already had another mindtrap before hers.

All legitimate points but then explain to me what Lanfear did to deserve the mind trap. Did she betray the DO? Why isn't Graendal sitting in a mindtrap like the rest? It is punishment, severe punishment, and it would suggest that somehow Moiraine killed her.
