Before Winter's Heart - Archive Only: Sealing the bore

When Flinn was healing Rand at the end of ACoS, he was talking about his past, and how he came to begin practicing Healing. Near the end, he said:
"Then one day Dashiva here -pardon Asha'man Dashiva - says he wonders why it's all the same, no matter if a man's got a broke leg or a cold, and we got to talking, and...Well, he's got no feel for it, himself, but me, seems I got the knack you might say. The Talent. So I started thinking, what if I.."
He then finishes with Rand and stops talking. This little paragraph led me to wonder though: what is Flinn talking about? The first thing that comes to mind for me is curing the taint on saidin. hmmm...any thoughts?

For Post PoD Theories I will probably start a 'What must be done to cure Saidin' category. I hadn't thought that Flinn was talking about anything other than healing...which might be the same process to 'healing' the taint. Do you believe the the Bore must be resealed before the taint can be healed?
