How long has it been since the Trolloc Wars? In the Illustrated Guide, it says that the Trolloc Wars started at about 1000 AB (After Breaking), and continued 350 years. After the Trolloc Wars, the FY (Free Year) calendar was developed. Ishamael became Hawkwing's advisor in 974 FY, and I assume that Hawkwing died in 1000 FY, just for the milleniums sake (close enough, anyway). The NE (New Era) is right after the War of One Hundred years which probably lasted about 100 years. Right now, I think it is 998 or so NE, and Tarmon Gaidon is probably on the millenium. Anyways, for Verin to be Corianne Nedeal from the Trolloc Wars, assuming she was 20+ or so being Aes Sedai (the raised 'em fast in the Trolloc Wars) she would be 20+350+1000+100+1000, approximately, which would be 2470+ years old. Mogghedien says that she was 200 when the Bore was sealed, middle age for and Aes Sedai. Even without swearing on the oath rod, and even if she had the channeling potential of Randx10, the she would have been dust 1000 years ago, slowing and all.

Agreed, she is not Corianne. Just as RJ said in regards to the possibility that Thom can channel, "there is no way in hell..."
