Before Winter's Heart - Archive Only: What is Verin's 70 Year Plan?

I was just reading some of the posts concerning Verin channeling in the stedding and I had a thought of how to explain her reaction. The ogier brought out is described after her to touch to not have a soul. Aes Sedai can sense minions of the dark one such as trollocs and draghkar, but we have seen on countless occasions that Aes Sedai and warders have a hard time sensing Grey Men, who incidentally do not have souls. This would explain why Verin draws back after touching him and in my mind proves that she didn't channel.

Wow, good point. Any Aes Sedai close enough would be able to sense a Gray man....good thinking. I think that pretty much closes that case or atleast creates enough plausible denial to make the Stedding channeling argument rather invalid...for now.
