Before Winter's Heart - Archive Only: Who is Moridin?

I think that Moridin is Ishy but I will not waste space here giving my reasons because I think that they have been amply covered by other postings. I do, however, have a couple of random thoughts about some subjects and I thought this was the best place to post them. First, just because Beidomon helped bore the hole into the dark one's prison doesn't mean that he was aware that it was a source for pure evil. The guide mentions that Lanfear did not go over to the shadow until 50 years into the collapse, which was 50 years after she bored a hole into the dark one's prison. It seems to me that if she and beidomon were looking for the dark one instead of looking just for an energy source they would have pledged themselves to the dark one on the spot rather than ( at least in lanfear's case) wait 50 years to do so. Just beacause beidomon did something dumb like bore a hole into the dark one's prison doesn't mean he is necessarilly evil. Second, moghy (when she first sees the saa in moridin's eyes) mentions that 29 others had been given access to the true power? Perhaps there were more than 13 forsaken over the course of the war of power and that they were killed in the course of the war so that by the end there were only 13? Maybe beidomon, if he were evil was one of those that were killed (I mean come on, it was a war, people die, even powerful ones.). Third, moridin could still use the true power for only a short period of time and still have the saa appear. I don't have the books in front of me so I can't confirm this but I can't remember a mention in the books of moridin actually using the one power. Perhaps when the d.o. ressurected ishy into moridin he took away his ability to use the one source, i.e. something like stilling, as punishment for his failure and death. In that case he would have to use the true power for everything that he used the one power for. I seem to remember moghy saying that the true power was only used in emergency because of all of the drawbacks it had, but if moridin/ishy decided to use it like the aes sedai seem to use the one power for everything (I mean they use it to do really simple stuff like picking up a glass of water) he would be using it an awful lot and hence the saa would appear a lot faster on him than on anyone before because he uses it for everything.

Very good points about Beidomon, thoughts I had been entertaining. I wonder if in all reality it was just an accident or if Lanfear, after boring the hole, had been 'communicating' with the DO for sometime before she actually decided to go over to the Dark Side. As for the saa, if Moridin is the watcher then we have seen him use the True Power but you brought up another valid point about what Moggy said, great post.
