Before Winter's Heart - Archive Only: Who helped Rand in Shadar Logoth?

1st, I doubt that the man who helped him was Logain, because he said, "...If you die now, many plans will have to be relaid." or something like that. This sounds like some kind of Shadow plan, to me. I doubt that Logain would know of any plans of the shadow, having been gentled and under Aes Sedai control. Also, for the theory that Logain could hide his flows while channeling them: I doubt it. Lets say that it is possible, though. This would have to be self taught, because he was caught before all the Forsaken were out (except Ishy). How would he test hiding his flows? No other channeler around, and even if he had discovered it, what use would it have been to him? Females can't even detect the Power, and that's what he would have been afraid of. The idea that it was Lews Therin is intriguing, and to make the story more interesting,I would hope that it was so. However, in the Fires of Heaven, when Rand was chasing Rhavin through Tel' Lews Therin tried to come out, and we got a picture of him. (Also, in the Prologue to Eye of World) He had whiteish hair (pretty old) The man at Shadar Logoth had all dark hair. Evidence strongly points to Moridin.

Good job, you pretty nicely brought up some new evidence which narrows our possibilities considerably. The Lews Therin point was well done. But I just had this thought, would the Aes Sedai possibly have a male channeler following Rand, someone to spy for them, we know that not only the DO has many plans, the White Tower seems to thrive with plots.
