I have thought about that alot and I beleive it must be LTT. His hair could appear to be black and actually be brown because of bad light. Most importantly Lanfear says in either TFoH or TSR "Oh no, nothing about you is the same, except your height..." and the person there is just as tall Rand. Secondly, when the two shafts of balefire meet rand's vision DOUBLES (hint,hint) but the person is quite clear. Perhaps it's because the two weaves meet and essences (I wish I had italics for this) collide.

That is one point about the LTT theory that I don't think I have seen discussed. The double vision and seeing the person clearly. Your suggestion is noted, but how would LTT all of sudden personify himself out of Rand if Rand is LTT REBORN?
