Before Winter's Heart - Archive Only: What Has Happened to Moiraine?

I think Moiraine is alive and if not well, then she is at least alive and in semi-good hands. Remember when she tells Elayne, Nynaeve, and Egwene that if you ask any questions pertaining to the Shadow you can die or come out mad,...? Well that was in the beginning chapters of Book 4. I don't see how Lanfear can let her power-hungry arrogance from deatroying her inside the ter'anreal gateway. Moiraine, I believe has taken away the bracelet angreal from Lanfear and was able to either hold her own until the emissary arrived or maybe even killed her (that's a big maybe 'cuz I'm not sure if she used the angreal on Aginor in the first book). One thing is for sure though, Thom will have to get her out. And that will require Tuon to come and claim Mat, (DON'T tell me you didn't know that was her name! Read Book 2 again. I've read the books in this series just about every night in Med School that I didn't have to study for Finals... I've been at it since '96). Anyway,... I think that Lanfear might have been destroyed by the foxes... Only Mr. Robert Jordan can tell us. I think Moiraine will be coming back in the end of the next book (book 8) or in Book 9. But I think that she'll most likely be coming back in the next one because Rand, Mat, and Perrin all thought about her in ACOS. Mat was the last to say the famous saying, "The wheel weaves as the wheel wills." Rand says it after he tells Perrin about what happened to Moiraine. Then Perrin starts thinking about Moiraine. Mat says most of the saying but cuts off thinking to himself that he sounds like an old woman. And last but not least (but not ta'veren, either), Min starts thinking about moiraine and how important she is to Rand winning in the end. I believe that she IS alive but, as a consolation: if she is dead, she'll definately come back when the Horn is sounded... But I still think she is alive and if three ta'veren have their mind set on something they'll probably get it and Moiraine will be back in one way or another. There's just one more thing I forgot to mention in my theory about Moiraine. It involves what Rand says about Moiraine and Lanfear when they disappear thru the Doorway. He says that Lanferar is dead, and so is Moiraine. Amys then snaps "You are a fool Rand al'Thor in this and a great many things you are a fool." or something like that. She is still alive. It took me about 3 more readings of this passage to realise this because Mr. Robert Jordan so cleverly hides this in Rand's next thought about he not being able to kill one woman so he kills another by his inaction. And hence we lose sight of another of his infamous clues. I mean, c'mon, Mr. Robert Jordan has so much about manipulating and the Great Game in his books that I really think that we should read into his writing for all the hidden clues he gives us in all his secretive dealings with our minds so secretive that our minds don't realise it until the deed is done in the next books and we turn back to the old books and we see where it was given in such flowery language as in a Foreteeling and we say to ourselves "Oh, so that's what that passage meant." Think about it...

That's some good reading to catch those references of each character thinking about moiraine. I agree, she is coming back, but my guess is more like the last book.
