Before Winter's Heart - Archive Only: Rand, Alanna and the Bond

I haven't been here for some time, so Id just like to say hello to everyone. Now, the theory. I have been thinking about the bond between Rand and Allana. I believe that the bond will be broken, leaving him much like Lan. This way he will be able to live past the Last Battle, as the snake people said that if he was to live, he must die.

Interesting work around the snakey words. Is Rand afraid of death? The quote by the Snake people seems to be saying this. Kind of, 'you must give up what you most cherish in order to have it'...deep thoughts by...
