Before Winter's Heart - Archive Only: Who is Mesanna masquerading as?

She has to be a relative newcomer to the White Tower since Forsaken escaped not so long ago. So she should appear there about the time all our favorite witches did. There was a girl there who looked for the boys (Elsie or Lizzy, I do not remember the name now). The she has been entirely dropped out at the time of the coup d'etat. I think that could not happen to the plot. She should be Messaana. But I do not see the main question: Why Rand is so important to the DO? RJ should have some explanation of all the plotting around.

Hmmm...that way the Aes Sedai wouldn't be curious about her potential strength and she could still channel...cool.

I don't think that Elsie Grinwell is Mesana. Elsie did really go to the Tower (so we are told) and was made to leave. A few days after that the fake Elsie shows up. But at that same time Lanfear was in the Tower. So I think that Lanfear posed asElsie. as of right now I have no clues as to who Elsie really is.
