Before Winter's Heart - Archive Only: Rand and the Last Battle

My theory has to do with the last battle. Now Rand has in his possession the two most powerful sa'angreal known. The prophesies of the Dragon say that Rand will fight the DO. Now I know that Rand is a mortal and the DO is like a god, but Lanfear said that with those two sa'angrels she and rand could challenge the creator, so Rand and another woman should be able to challenge the DO. Fel told Rand that the DO's prison MUST be whole again before the third age comes again. So my theory is that the DO WILL break free at the end of the series and Rand and his female companion will fight him and seal him away in a brand new prision, without any bore to worry about. Sealing the bore is not sufficient! The prision must be whole before the bore can again be created in the future.

Hmm, you do have a point when you speak about what Lanfear said to Rand, but I think that it might have been what she perceived as great power. How do you go about fighting the creator? I think she meant ruling the world, therefore displacing the Creator and the DO from influencing it. Although, I agree with part of what you said at the end, the prison must be whole and patches won't do it. But what a new prison? How could you put the DO into a new prison?
