Before Winter's Heart - Archive Only: Rand and the Last Battle

I was looking through the theories and a memory tickled the edge of my mind. I went back and looked in my books and low and behold I found a reasurance. I am refering to the quotes at the beginnings and ends of most of the books. If you look clearly at the age that is indicated. The Fourth Age. That scribes still write about the DR suggest one of two things:

1) The Age changes before the Last Battle

2) Rand won and the world is not broken again because the memories still remain.

I am not totally sure about these, but if I could get some input it would be most interesting. I'd also like to state that I haven't seen any things on this subject so I assume it hasn't been brought up here.

The Fourth Age hasn't been discussed very much so I think it is an excellent topic to bring up. The quotes suggest to me that the Dragon Reborn wins the final battle and that there isn't a cataclysmic event that ensues.
