Will bind the Nine Moons to serve him."

Before Winter's Heart - Archive Only: Prophecies, Foretellings, and Talents

Now, Tamyrlin, I know you think that the Seachan will never serve Rand, but prophecy does state that Rand "will bind the Nine Moons to serve him. You think they won't serve because the land will be divided by the return, but I think this prophecy comes after the last battle, after the return.

So do you believe that Rand will survive the Last Battle and that possibly his overcoming the DO will bing the Seachan to him?

Moraine is talking with Perrin and Min after Rand has left themin the mountains, she mentions several obscure passages of The Prophicies of the Dragon, as examples of which Rand has run away to fulfill. The one that strikes me is: "he will bind the nine moons to serve him", this does imply that the Seanchan will serv Rand, or doesn't it?

If this is something already thought of, i'm sorry. I'm rereading the whole series and suddenly understood thisprophecy(i think). So I just had to get it out of me....

Yes, it would imply that the 'nine moons' will serve him but to what extent is not to obvious. For example look at the Athan Miere, they faught every step of the way. Now the definition of 'Nine moons' is quite vague also, will this be the ruling body or a rebel body of the Seanchan. There are still many variables to be left uncovered.
