Before Winter's Heart - Archive Only: Miscellaneous Theories

We all know there's a little bit of forshadowing in Jordan's books. I think I ran across some in LoC. Theodrin is trying to help Nynaeve break her block, and Nynaeve thinks how she can no more breath under water than she can surrender. Which is how her block is broken. Anyhow, I mention that for this reason: earlier in the same book Elayne thinks how Nynaeve will not be satisfied until she heals someone three days dead. Rand is very symbolic of Christ, and three days was the length to the ressurrection. I Rand going to die only to be raised by Nynaeve?

Your close about Nynaeve, but instead of Healing Rand from the dead, she'll bring back Lan. "'Til the Battle is Done." Lan won't quit fighting until the DO is defeated and the seal made whole. If Nynaeve brings anyone back it will be her lover that she is bonded with, after Lan dies in the Last Battle. I would also bet that the Bond has a lot to due with it. Jordan have been foreshadowing Lan's death far too much to ignore.

What Nyneave specifically said was that she could no more surrender than breath under water, or fly. I wsa thinking the exact same thing about her breaking her block, now i'm just wondering how long until she learns to fly.
