Before Winter's Heart - Archive Only: Miscellaneous Theories

I just wanted to know if anyone else noticed this. In the Tel'aran'rhiod, in the Panarch's Palace, Egwene finds a three pointed star inside a circle made from a soft unknown material. She can feel pride and vanity from it, a Mercedes hood ornament? Do they live on Earth?

Reference: TRS pg 209 bottom of the second to last paragraph. (paper back if that makes a difference).

Mike, I would say that this thought has crossed most of our minds especially for those who have re-re-re-re-read the series. It appears that the age before the AoL was our age. If you read in TSR about 300 pages in I believe Thom is speaking with Elayne and he goes onto talk about old stories from before the AoL, like Glen and the Eagle, and others that appear to be speaking about Russia and missiles. I hope this helps.

The three pointed star in a circle that Egwene found when she was looking for the male-adam collar, has something to do with the world through the twisted doorways. When Mat walks through the corridors in that world, they are curved into a circle. He also passes places where he sees something reaching into the center of the circle. (I am doing this off the top of my head so I do not have exaxct quotes.) The object is the same shape as this world. I do not know the significance of this, but there are so many references to this world that it has got to be important in the future.
