Before Winter's Heart - Archive Only: Miscellaneous Theories

After reading the prolougue to The Path of Daggers, I think that we can clear up a few things that have been the subjects of heated debate:

1.) Verin is not a forsaken or someone from the age of legends. She clearly describes how she went to the white tower and became an Aes Sedai.

2.)Stilling does destroy a warder's bond with his Aes Sedai. Note:I don't think that Robert Jordan would have mentioned this if it wasn't going to be important in this book.

3.) I am absolutely sure that Moridin is Ishamael. Here is some evidence to support my conclusions:

-By what he says, Moridin is someone from the AOL
-Ishamael was a philosopher. Weren't Moridin's thoughts concerning 'the fisher' philosophical.
-Ishamael is the symbol of the Heart of the Dark for the last three thousand years. I don't think the series is finished with him.

You made some good points...I won't dispute the Ishy/Moridin idea because there are more concrete facts now.
