Wwell, here's my theory.

So far RJ has left out 2 of the main characters in his books. One was perrin and the other was MAT. I believe the next 1 up is Rand which will be when he is a beggar. I dont think he will be entirely left out of the book,just appearing a little. Because of this there will be chaos and wars and stuff like that, well thats it.

A book without Rand, can he do that?! I don't think the Wheel will let RJ leave Rand out of the story for that long, but I could imagine very few references to his location, etc because I do believe that Rand is about to go on a retreat...or he is on his way to the Black Tower.
