Before Winter's Heart - Archive Only: Is Taim Demandred?

Well, first I do not believe that Taim is one of the forsaken, The main thing that sticks out in my head, is somewhere in the books I'm not sure where, Rand is having one of his conflicts with LTT And it says something like, he looked up and was surprised to see concern on Taim's face, and then Taim said something like You have to hold on. I think Taim is someone who just has a very large ego. I mean come on how would you feel if for 15 years or so you could just outpower anything that came your way, I believe that Logain will however take over the Ashaman. In Min's viewings of him I believe the halo is described as gold and black, interesting the Ashaman wear entirely black clothing with golden insignia for rank As for the how, I think that Taim will somehow end up in a battle against either Aes Sedai or Seanchan and be killed, gentled,or maybe just losing the battle, and Logain will somehow get Callandor and win the battle. At that point, Rand will decide to make Logain the leader of the Ashaman, What I think would be a really interesting twist is if Taim lives, but Logain is put in command over him. That would certainly add a little more chaos in the ranks of the Ashaman.

I think I like your explanation of Taim (just to be controversial), simple, and human like. Anyone put in Taim's shoes would feel the same way...although, this thought just came to me, if he was broken out of the Aes Sedai prison by his 'followers' why didn't he show up with any of his 'help'? WOW!, that is right, okay...anyone have an answer for that one? Has anyone else had this occur to them?" - Tamyrlin (I hold the rights to that thought...so if you didn't have that thought before, please give me a little credit if you use it elsewhere.
