Before Winter's Heart - Archive Only: Is Taim Demandred?

I think that Mazrim Taim is who he says he is. There are just too many hints about him being Demandred. It seems that Robert Jordan is trying to fool the readers into believing Taim is Demandred. His hints are so obvious that it just doesn't follow Rj's writing style. The real question is if Taim is just jealous of Rand's success, or if he is a darkfriend. Taim has been channeling for about 15 years (since 983-984). According to "The world of RJ's Wheel of time," Ishamael was free earlier than the other Foresaken. He was free in 983 if not earlier. Are these dates coincidence? Or is Ishamael responsible for Taim's emergence as a false dragon. Was Taim being controlled / compelled by Ishamael? Is he a new "Chosen"?

The question you pose is good, if Taim has been channeling for so long what compelled him to proclaim Dragonhood now? Was it the Red Ajah? Was it the Black Ajah? Was it Ishamael with promises of eternal life? Or was it the Wheel that pushed him to do so because it required a Dragon? I believe is was the Reds/Black that were searching for channelers and pushed him into it. The only proof I can point to which is weak is the story that Logain paints about his own experience(I know the story was made up as far as we can tell by Siuan to bring down the Red). I don't believe that Ishamael knew of Taim before he proclaimed himself unless through the BA searching just as Moiraine was. Anyone else have a better explanation?
