1. Danelle, a Mesaana suspect, mentions the troubles in Shienar that are assumed to have been a catalyst for the Borderlanders' decision to go south. We know that the troubles were begun because Hurin returned there from Falme with the news of the Dragon Reborn. And of course, when Taim was originally captured, it was because Rand's battle with Ishamael flashed across the sky in Saldaea, in the middle of a battle.

2. Alviarin dismisses the troubles in Shienar, saying that their agents will let them know if it gets out of hand. It's important to note that Danelle is not Black Ajah (or at least, she wasn't on Egwene's list that we know of), and that Alviarin has no idea who Mesaana is, so if Mesaana is indeed Danelle, Alviarin is ignorant of it.

3. Evanellein is Black. She was suspected of it before The Gathering Storm, for this comment about the troubles in Tanchico, and also for her calls to remove Elaida in Knife of Dreams. She was not on Verin's list, but she escaped at the same time as the other Blacks in the Tower. She was a Sitter for the Gray.

4. Javindhra might still be Black, as she was gone from the Tower when the purge happened, at the Black Tower with Pevara. Javindhra was suspect partly for the same reasons as Evanellein; she showed some amount of satisfaction at the idea that the truth about Elaida's mishaps (with Dumai's Wells and the Black Tower) would come out, and Javindhra has a reputation for being Elaida's lapdog. She also has knowledge of the Red sister that was being Compelled by Rahvin to report what he wished to the Tower; Rahvin says that those who served the Chosen in the Tower had told him right where to find her.

5. Teslyn and Joline are still unknowns, as they are with Mat and therefore escaped the purge. Egwene might know of them from Elayne and Nynaeve, but there is still nothing to say that she would have thought of them when she was reading Verin's list.

6. So far as we know, Aes Sedai never caught up with Bashere. Tenobia's decision to go south was apparently made after she learned that Bashere and Taim both followed Rand. Bashere met Rand in The Fires of Heaven, not long after this meeting.

7. Alviarin says that she will redouble her efforts to take Taim, but there is no further mention of the sisters that she sent to accomplish the task, and it seems doubtful that she would have allowed any Aes Sedai to take Taim. So, either she sent out Black sisters with some other purpose, or she did not send any besides Memara (who is probably a Black - Elaida noted that Memara was Red, and was happy about it, so it stands to reason that Alviarin chose one of her own).

Are the sisters with the Borderlanders those sent by Siuan, or those sent by Alviarin? All indication is that Tenobia's Aes Sedai did not join her until they left; Coladara's visitors, on the other hand, were presumably there as the plans were being made.

Did Mesaana have some hand in the Borderlanders' decision to go south? If so, then the plan goes back to Demandred, who heads the triumvirate of their alliance.

What do you guys think? I know that these are a lot of weak-ish and random connections, but I still think it's interesting.
