All this shows is that a dual party system doesn't work and that they should have absolute power to enact their policies...for the good of us all.

Who would have thought that two decades of "NEVER COMPROMISE" as a party slogan would be an issue once they actually had nearly unfettered power?

There was a health care for Justice Sotomayor this morning. It would have been absolutely awful if she would have had something serious enough to warrant retiring from the Court. Given her liberal record and the fact that we already have the balance of the court dependent on a dying Ginsberg and about to retire Kennedy. The last thing we need to do is give up one of the younger, safe Liberal seats to a Trump nominee.

The Great Negotiator strikes again: He invites Schumer to a meeting at the WH only to say that Schumer should go to the Capitol to meet with McConnell and Ryan and “work something out”.

Schumer was at the Capitol trying to do that when Trump asked to see him.

It’s almost as if the whole thing was pathetic political theater by the Idiot-in-Chief.

Good thing he’s not wasting people’s time or something.

I wish he's was just wasting time. He's sticking his spoon into the pot so he can claim credit.

Senate measure fails and even 4 GOP senators voted against it. Clearly this is the Dems fault somehow.

According to some of comments I've seen elsewhere? Some think so.

Odd that there was literally a 200,000% increase in Russian bots pushing that BS on Twitter. Almost enough to think it’s complete fake BS meant to try and undercut the ongoing Mueller investigation that is getting dangerously close to the big fish in he pond.

Edited to add: I haven't bothered to follow the link, so I can't be accused of drawing wrong conclusions from the facts, seeing as how I chose not to know any facts in this case at all.

Innuendo. If there was actually something there, it would have been leaked.

Returning to the topic of the shutdown however, I’m not sure how the dems win this argument and gain daca concessions.

The funny part of Nunez memo is that he apparently tried to make it look like the Steele Dossier was the only reason the FBI got the FISA warrant against Trump but mentioned it was part of multiple sources/tips on the warrant application. He can't even make up crap well as he basically admits the FBI had multiple other tips to justify its investigation.

What a dumbass.
