He isn't wearing Aviendha's belt buckle. So, you might have a point there

Edit: Or is he wearing two belts?

He is wearing at least two belts. Neither of the belts we can see has that buckle on it. He may be wearing a third belt underneath these two, though.

Obviously, rather than being a sign of madness, this is part of a clever strategy to defeat the DO.

Rand has been rode hard and put away wet.

As for Lannie, Cyndane is short, blonde, and bosomy. Don't think she's chubby though...unless Demandred likes fat chicks.

I have this problem with her a lot. Sometimes she just gets on a roll.

Lol ... cannot wait to see how the "belt strategy" will work!

The Chinese dragon belt confused me more that the ordinary belt without Aviendha's buckle!

Moiraine's strength doesn't matter since Callandor is attuned to men. Only Rand's strength is relevant. Moiraine could be barley strong enough to light a candle and she could still join him in a link while he's using Callandor. Plus Nynaeve's strength and her angreal. Correct me if I'm wrong but you can only use one angreal/sa'angreal per side of the power at a time. That being the case, it might be wise to lend her the fluted wand.

They used 3 Angreal when they used the bowl of winds so there's no limit to the number of Angreal in a circle. There may however be a limit of 1 per channeler

When both Rand and Asmo where deadlocked in control of the great male sa'angreal, Rand tipped the balance by drawing thru the smaller seated man angreal he had on his hip. Thus proving that you can use more than one angreal/sa'angreal (and i guess terangreal) simultaneously.

I doubt it. Rand used the key to the CK and the fat man angreal while fighting Asmodean in the Waste. The key is a technically a ter'angreal used to access a sa'angreal, but I doubt the difference matters as far as using more than 1.

I was thinking of the way Rand holds Calandor.

We know from forsaken povs that the stalactites and cave height aren't always the same. Moghedien in particular has experienced the stalactites fording her to crawl. Could it be Calandor protects against that?

Also, if Rand dies before going to the bore, that dagger might prevent the DO from realizing if Rand's been brought back.

Good point. So Rand would be confidently striding along, with Moiraine and Nynaeve crawling behind him, trying to keep up. In the background there's Egwene, for some reason muttering about "overweening pride".

If we continue like this, then nothing that could happen in AMoL will surprise us anymore.

Ah. Good point. But still, since Callandor is tuned to saidin, Moiraine's strength doesn't matter. She's just one more node in the link.

Burn my soul, who would suggest such a thing? Next you'll claim that the other is the Lady Ilyena Sunhair, another Aes Sedai with the Lord Dragon from the Age of Legends where it all began.
