hats next for the Taveran

This is just my idea of what the next book/s will have in store for Mat, Perrin and Rand.
Perrin: Perrin will slowly become more and more desperate to find Faile. He will frantically reach out for help and find it in the form of Galad. Galad will learn of what happened in the Two Rivers and will feel obligated to do the right thing and help Perrin get Faile back. The whitecloaks will not like this and many will leave( eventually the WC will be divided between Galad and Bornhald) this leaves only those loyal to Galad. Galad will not mind working with Aes Sedai, after all Morgase and elayne can channel. Perrin and the WC will take on the Shaido and somehow the Ashaman will prove to great a force for the Shaido to stop. In the process Galad will meet Berelain (hence her man in white, for the people out there that dont beleive in Galad+Berelain she could meet one of the thousands of gaishan)Galad will also meet Morgase who will reveal herself and allow Perrin to resurrect Manetheran because of him being taveran. Chiad will die in the struggle and when Gaul sings the song of mourning Aram who will happen to be there will find out this is the "song"
Rand: Rand will go meet with Suroth and Anath/Semi but not before he senses Mat(the colors) and after they talk for a while he learns of the Seanchan deception, gets pissed and decides to go anyway just to get Suroth. Suroth will try something but Mat will stop her (below)
Mat: Mat will continue to fall for Tuon who has decided to embrace her feelings for him (the end of CoT she is wearing the rosebuds)and will become tied to her. Rand will come to Mat when he senses him on his way to Suroth. They will talk Mat will introduce Rand and Tuon, Tuon will be outraged when Rand tells her of Suroth's message. Rand will leave after telling Mat he will be back later. Tuon will convince mat to go kill/capture Suroth. Mat will arrive in time to save rand from Semirhage using his medallion. The gholam will show up and Tuon will kill it (remember she is fast) after it somehow injures Mat and this will secure their love (remember Perrin, Faile and the hedgehog ter angreal in TDR?)Rand will be thankful to Mat, the colors will stop and the Seanchan will unite under Tuon and Mat with the forces of Rand. Maybe Rand will kneel to Mat or something (thus fulfilling the crystal throne prophecies)Mat will learn of the cleansing and stop bugging out about Rand. Finally Suroth will find a now humbled Sevanna and they will use one of the damane (Pura?) to try to control Rand with the male adam (Later though)
That is about it that took alot of typing! Please respond I want to know if anyone thinks could be how it happens.

The Perrin and Galad thing is possible, but I am still holding out hope that Galad is a darkfriend. However, no way on the mourning song, finding the song. And Morgase can't authorize Perrin to do anything since she gave up her thrown. About Rand, I agree he will go, but will Mat meet up with him before? I don't know. Mat has agreed to eventually return Tuon. Maybe he will return with her when Rand is there and that way they will meet up. I still have this suspicious feeling that the Finns have convinced Mat that he has to marry Tuon, but what Mat doesn't realize is that Tuon is evil. Interesting ideas.

I can see a few things wrong with this.
1) in CoT Perrin meets back up with Tallvanor, and they talk about a Seanchan army, which perrin abviously means to ask for help (possably using the letter he got from berelain, stolen from Masenna).
2)Rand and Mat have no real reason to be too close to each other, unless Rand trusts Suroth enough to go into Ebou Dar, and is willing to be that close to so many Demane. More likely they will meet somewhere in the middle, Suroth with Sul'dam, and Rand with Ashamen, meaning they will be nowhere near Mat.

Intersting ideas. I've been waiting for Galad to meet up with some of the Taveran. What do you think will happen when Rand and Galad meet up? They are half brothers. Galad may not know it, but Rand does.

I think that Mat will discover that Tuon is in fact his sister, but they were parted at birth to protect them from Darth Cauthon. The fact that they are going to get married is okay because Tuon is either Tasmanian or Texan - she talks with a drawl.
Sorry I could not help myself. Apologies to all Texans and Tasmanians.
I am inclined to think that Perrin is going to be tempted long and hard to make uneasy alliances with either the White Cloaks or Sevanna. He is desperate to get Faile back and will do nearly anything to achieve this. Given that Rand has done nothing but throw problems at him (ie Berelain and the Prophet Big Chief Dodohead), Perrin should be getting a little sarcastic about the whole Dragon thing by now. Perrin being Perrin his oath will be more important to him than it is to his so-called ally, so this ally will have a great chance to dirk him. Add Perrin's emerging savvy, the Claytons Aiel, the real Aiel code of ethics, a couple of Aes Sedai, and Prophet Big Chief Dodohead, Perrin will need either some prozac or a stiff drink to cope with it all.
I do like to read about other people's thoughts for the next book - it is as good as reading the next book itself - it heightens the anticipation. However, ultimately, until someone gets hold of book 11 (far out, that is 2 hands and a toe!!!) it is only speculation. Cheers Mal

Taigan-
As i said in the theory above I think Galad is going to meet Morgase and she will reveal herself to him. I think when Morgase tells Galad how whitecloaks treated her he will go off to confront the new Bornhald on his behavior. This will keep him busy for a while. As for Rand and Galad meeting, I don't think Rand will tell him they are brothers, because he is Elayne's step brother (its a little wierd) and because of who he is. I mean what would you do if somebody said oh, by the way your the DR's half brother. Also I think Galad can channel, especially if channeling is inherited because Taringail had the gene (Elayne can channel) and we know Tigraine had the gene (Rand can channel)-I am assuming both parents have the channeling gene for offspring to have the ability to channel- That will be wierd a channeling whitecloak!

i personally dont think galad can channel.
Who says Tarangail and Tigraine had the channeling "gene"? they don thave too. Elayne got it from Morgase, who can channel, even if not much. For all we know Rand could have gotten it from Junai, he wouldnt have had the spark but maybe he could learn, or, if it is like a gene it couldve just been reccessive in him.

**Who says Tarangail and Tigraine had the channeling "gene"? they don thave too. Elayne got it from Morgase, who can channel, even if not much.**
A channeler needs at least a channeling carrier for their child to be a channeler, if it is based on genetics since the # of channelers is so low and it is obviously recessive.
Going by that, Taringail at least had a channeling carrier gene for Elayne to be a channeler.

I think I mentioned this somewhere before, but considering all those "population depopulating" things that have been going on since the Breaking, wouldn't almost everybody have at least ONE ancestor who could [learn to] channel? Or is it that genes get so diluted they eventually "disappear" from that family?
This is going into the channeling "genetic or not" argument again. I personally don't THINK Galad can channel, but it would be a nice plot twist.

The genes for channeling would most likely be based on multiple alleles (combinations), so the percentage would be low.
Think of it like poker. The more kinds of cards (alleles), A, K, Q, J, 10, etc., the rarer the combinations for suits (channeling). Some genes (like eye color) are based on 5 or more alleles and percentages go really far down for certain traits (the recessive ones) and better for the others (dominant ones).

*when Gaul sings the song of mourning Aram who will happen to be there will find out this is the "song"*
Sorry, I think the "song" is actually connected to the songs Loial uses as a treesinger. In SH, at Rhuidean, Rand experiences memories of his Aiel ancestors: Coumin, old enough to join in the "seed singing" with the Ogier and Nym. This was before the da'shain aiel had abandoned the way of the leaf, and split into Aiel and Tuatha'an.

there is no single "song"... the song was a major part of Aiel life, but there were many different songs... you are right to think it's connected to the treesinging, but Ogier have said that tinkers came and tried to learn, but the trees wouldn't listen.
The tinkers pursue a lost dream, poor them.
