It occurs to me we haven't seen many armies made up of Andormen. Aside from what was sent into Cairhein few soldiers from Andor have taken part in any fighting. Aside from the nobles and their soldiers on the Murandy border who went to stop the little tower, no other Andoran nobles are accounted for. Since it was mentioned many times in the different books (sorry I don't have specific quotes) that Andor was a rich and powerful country, it wouldn't seem that hard to believe that the different Houses could raise armies. Givne that many nobles are looking at the current situation as another Succession War, it would make sense for them to try and defeat Elayne quickly since she is the strongest claiment and the one most likely to gain support quickly. It would make sense for the rival claiments to work together to defeat her, even if they will then turn on each other.

Well, the loyal andoran soldier that "gabrielle-forsaken" sent out EAST TO FIGHT over the river. these loyal, to the queen have been out of the picture, and may have heard, rumors travel fast the Elayne has taken the throne, and are now coming to the calyin the capitol to support her or to see what is going on
