reaking of the Black Tower

by al'Kir'En Arhy'Echtyl: 2000-11-21 | 4 out of 10 (4 votes)

Previous Categories: The Black Tower

All foreshadowing, and certainly reader opinion, leads to my conclusion that Taim, if not already a DF or Forsaken, will soon turn to the DO's cause. Now this will bring about some very drastic changes in the Black Tower. The newly present force represented by Logain will definately make these occurences very important, for i believe through all of the problems and troubles that Logain has been through he truly does despise the DO and support the Dragon Reborn, may the light illuminate and bless his name. This internal difference of opinions by two of the most powerful Asha'man alive will lead inevitably to a breaking of the BT. Herein lies my question to all of you, what will this do to the BT oand how is it going to affect the DR and the struggle between light and dark. Well obviously Logain and those few others who support the Dragon will soon become the oft mentioned Dreadlords for the side of the Light, but how will these few renegades come to find Lord al'Thor and convince him of their true intentions, and finally what could this possibly mean for Caemlym and the newly returned daughter-heir? i can only surmise that this terrible event will soon rear its ugly head and wreak a horrible terror upon the realms. And where in Shayol Ghul is Knight Errant Gawyn Trakand and the Younglings...

That's true, imagine a battle at the Black Tower at the same time this other armies arrives at Caemlyn, and the Borderlanders passing by too...that would be insane.

The younglings (and Gawyn) appearantly returned to the WT with the Aes Sedai who survived the battle at Dumai's Wells. He accompanied them back to the WT and nothing we have heard since indicates he has left.

Gawyn opposed Siuan and supported Elaida during the coup, but what will he do when he realizes that Egwene is leading the attack on the Tower? I think this is related to Min's viewing of him kneeling to Egwene or breaking her neck.

This should probably be in predictions (might drop it in after this post!), but perhaps the rending of the BT drives everyone in Andor to support Elayne - as she will be seen as the only one with even a chance to contain this outbreak of 'madness' among the male chanelers.

And once an oath is given, there is no way to take it back without losing all credibility...

Ok... I don't even know where to begin.

Wait, yes I do! Dreadlords are EVIL!!! The are powerful channelers who work UNDER FORSAKEN!!! Also, how will they find him? They can Travel. And Rand was not making a big secret of where he was recently... Well ok, in CoT, he runs off, but... they can travel... They can ask around. and it isn't like Rand wouldn't have heard if the Asha'Man started freaking out. He does tend to haveup to date news about that kind of stuff... I mean, he can travel too.

i thought the dreadlords WERE the forsaken. or atleast were before the breaking.

any Aes Sedai during the AOL who joined the shadow was concidered a dreadlord... but the Chosen were (nomen est omen) only a select few, the elite.

Common misconception. Forsaken are the 13 strongest channelers of the AoL that went over to the Dark, although there were many mroe they were just killed off contesting to become more and more powerful.

Dreadlords are channelers that went over to the Dark, but were post-AoL (mainly in the Trolloc Wars).

where there dreadlords in the AOL? assumadly there were other channelers that fought for the dark, so i guess its just a question of what to call them.

and i dont think the 13 forsaken were always the 13 forsaken. moggy mentions a number and the dark one has made enough my chosen are the strongest my hand moves comments that i would bet anything that hand has moved in the past.
